Holy Shit.
I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at 5:38 this morning. AKA 5 minutes ago. I'm in shock. And I'm afraid I'm going to have to put the rest in a cut so as to not give away important details.
*Spoilers*
Snape evil, Draco deadly and Dumbledore. I was actually beginning to like Dumbledore in this book. Harry was acting his age for once, and the book was moving at a nice pace. Dumbledore was showing Harry Voldemort's past and things were beginning to make sense. Harry was kept in the loop. Now I just don't know. Fleur and Bill are getting married. Ron and Hermione are so close to going out it's not funny. Harry finally realized that Ginny was the girl for him. Tonks liked Remus. Snape really was evil all along. Draco was ordered to kill Dumbledore and Snape ended up doing it for him. Harry actually went to a funeral and Hogwarts is closed for Harry's seventh year--not that he'd go back if given the choice. He has those Horcrux things to find. AND DUMBLEDORE IS DEAD!!! First Cedric, then Sirius and the Dumbledore. If he can kill Dumbledore, then it is possible that Harry could be next. ^_~ You never know. I kept reading the ending in hopes that Snape was really a good guy and had stunned Dumbledore instead of killing him. But it never happened. *Spoilers over*
I went to Fisher on Thursday with my mom. She had a job interview there and it was an hour/hour and a half north of Moorhead. My school is up there, so I decided to tag along. We drove through some pretty interesting towns like Felton, Lockhart, Climax... I think there were more, but I can't remember right now. I was in the car from 7:30 to about 9, with maybe an hour outside of the car. Meaning, I was in the car for about 13 hours. Wow, it didn't seem like so much then.
Yesterday (which I still feel like is today because I haven't slept yet), my mom drove me up to Eau Claire to meet up with Kris in order to get the 6th HP book (mentioned above ^_^). I ended up having to call her to tell her I wouldn't be there at five because I was stuck in traffic. Stupid Woodbury. Oh well. We went around the shops and I bought a silver bracelet (it's shiny!!), a black wristband that says "music=life" (it was for a good cause), and a rune necklace that has the symbol for protection. I almost got travel, which would've been cool except it looked like the letter "R" and that wasn't cool. Stupid reasoning, but it works. We played air hockey at the arcade and I got my butt whooped. Though, the two games were close. Then we played DDR and I lost once again. This time however, the two games were not close. At all. ^_^ We went and saw "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" which is the best movie ever. I want to see it again. Then we went over to Borders and waited. It was cool though and I still have Kris' wristband. With her permission. I don't steal. Though it is a good bargaining chip for the next time we meet. "Bring b-day pressie and the wristband doesn't get bleached!" I'll have to work on that for a while.
I got my housing info in the mail and my roommate's name is Elizabeth. My room number is 105 and I know nothing beyond that. Oh well. I'm off to sleep. Oh, and sorry for any grammar mistakes in this. I've been up since noon yesterday and it's 6:05 now. The trouble is I'm not really tired. hmm...
